The bank shows cleared funds. QBO shows the register balance.

The QBO register includes duplicated entires, missing transactions, outstanding deposits, incorrect beginning balances, the list goes on. Oftentimes, bank VS QBO balances won’t entirely match (until reconciliation, that is). Which brings me to the most important point…

All the more reason to reconcile accounts monthly (yes…monthly).
