How much does a bookkeeper cost in montana?

Not an uncommon question. If I were you, I would be asking the same.

First thing’s first - know your why. Why are you looking for a bookkeeper? If your reasons are thorough, price becomes less of an obstacle.

Second, here’s the answer: outsourcing your books to a bookkeeper will run between $60 - $100 per hour. If you land with a CPA firm, expect to pay between $150 - $400 per hour.

One more thing - it’s worth noting bookkeeping does not take long (for somebody who know’s what the heck they are doing). Expect your bookkeeper to work between 5 - 20 hours per month, depending. While it may take you twice the amount time, suddenly outsourcing becomes worth it.
